talkingworks was created in 2006 by Karen Field and Martin Knight-Willis. We are both psychotherapists in private practice on the Hibiscus Coast, which is a seaside town north of Auckland, New Zealand.
Our vision is to create a resource for clients and the public, full of high quality information about psychological theories and therapies. Alongside this, we want to provide a user-friendly Internet directory of counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists to give clients easy access to information about services in your area.
We hope as the site builds, that the public and professionals both find talkingworks a useful resource.
