We Offer

We offer counselling and psychotherapy to help people with such problems as:
  • self-esteem and confidence
  • anxiety and panic
  • depression, isolation, and suicidality
  • personal growth
  • stress, life changes, and grief
  • trauma and sexual abuse
  • eating and body image issues
  • anger and violence
  • relationships and sexual issues
  • parenting and family struggles

What to expect

Counselling and psychotherapy may be either short or long term. In your first session an initial assessment of your situation will be made. This is to assist you and the counsellor/therapist to focus clearly on what it is that you want to achieve. We believe in the right of each individual to decide their own goals. At your first session we will also discuss session times, frequency, fees, cancellations, and anything else that may concern you.

We belong to the NZ Association of Counsellors and/or the NZ Association of Psychotherapists. We abide by their Code of Ethics and are accountable to them. To ensure a high quality of service we regularly review our work.

I believe counselling has the potential to enable us to be more aware of who we are and what we want; thus creating a deeper meaning to our lives. I feel privileged to be involved in this process of self-discovery with individuals, couples, and children, which enables each of us to tap into our strengths, passions, and potential thus enhancing our lives. I am particularly passionate about working with the challenges that relationships bring. I am available to see clients in Orewa and Warkworth.
