Areas of Special Interest
Bridget can help with a broad range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, sexual abuse, gender identity, sexuality, life transitions and relationship difficulties, amongst other things.
Bridget offers individual face-to-face therapeutic support. This support can be short or long term, depending on individual need. Skype sessions are also available.
Therapy focuses on client strengths, resources, values and hopes as opposed to weaknesses, risks, and regrets to facilitate a more balanced understanding of the human experience.
Bridget's fundamental approach is to help clients understand themselves better, and to help clients find their own path to solve their difficulties. Personal empowerment, autonomy and independence are paramount.
