Counselling Services

You may have been feeling anxious or disconnected for a while now but you just can’t quite put your finger on it. Perhaps you are suffering from a major loss or the ongoing pain of unresolved issues. Whatever you are going through, when you have had enough and want to make change in your life, I am here to walk beside you while you navigate your way through your inner world. As we go along, I will provide the support you need to gain insight and clarity about what is happening, as well as empowering you to discover your own solutions, inner resources and strengths.

Counselling Approach

To suit the individual needs of each person, I use a diverse collection of therapeutic modalities and mindfulness-based approaches. I enjoy working with a wide range of issues and I have a special interest in loss & grief, spirituality and finding meaning in an ever changing world.

My counselling style is warm, affirming, nonjudgmental and collaborative. I offer a calm and relaxed environment to be in. My work is informed and shaped by Buddhist psychology. I believe that by focussing on cultivating kindness and compassion towards ourselves and all living beings we begin to unlock our true potential for inner happiness and peace.

About Me

Born and raised in Switzerland, I have lived in Aotearoa for almost three decades. After working as a retail book seller for many years, I was ready to embrace a career change. Since 2006 I have offered counselling in various settings such as hospices, high schools as well as in private practice. Intermittently I have also worked as volunteers’ coordinator and trainer, operations manager and spiritual care coordinator. I now work exclusively in private practice.
