Talking and expressing our feelings through words is often difficult or impossible for individuals going through difficult times. I offer personalized art concepts for each client, using mindfulness-based approaches and a variety of arts modalities (visual arts, clay therapy, play therapy, movement therapy, sound vibration therapy ) to support you on your personal journey, finding balance and creating a happy meaningful life.
You don’t have to be an artist to express something creatively, you just have to feel safe enough to give it a go. I provide a confidential, non medical and non-judgmental space where I will work with you, at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that every person can heal if they have a safe, loving space and time given to heal from past events.
I offer individual art therapy sessions from my tree-house art space.
I accept self referrals as well as those from health professionals, schools, special need educator, early childhood intervention service and community based groups.
I offer a 20 min free visit to the Art Therapy space where you can see what I do at Kapiti Art Therapy and you can get to know me and ask me questions before booking your sessions.
Arts therapy uses the creative processes to help you express your feelings and emotions through a non verbal creative process. You can experience color vibration, color meditation, mindfulness techniques and have access to many art modalities like clay, wool, acrylic, earth colors, mixed media and Neurographic.
I provide a supportive space for you to try and explore new strategy's, guide you gently through different art modality s to teach you to focus on your talents and not your imperfections so you can heal from past events in your life.
