Counselling/Therapy Services

I offer long and short term therapy.

My focus has always been to establish empathic relationships with people that are genuine and based on unconditional positive regard. Once our relationship has been established we can work together to look at relationships you have had in your life and through discussion we can make sense of learned patterns of behaviour that are affecting and causing problems in your life today, which will enable you to live a full life and flourish.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

I favour Person Centred approach working with the relationship. To compliment this I use developmental models such as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness Techniques which includes eastern beliefs if the client requires, this teaches clients how to gain control over self destructive thoughts and behaviours. Transactional Analysis (TA), promotes self understanding for clients and has an immediate effect.
