Counselling Services

Respectful conversations where we work together to understand what’s troubling you and to discover new ways of moving forward towards clarity, self-empowerment and change.

Counselling Approach

I encourage a reflective and collaborative partnership between clients and myself, where the work is primarily to bring clarity and understanding to the forefront, so we can best uncover what is needed to address your specific concerns as they arise. Every person brings their own story, and within these stories are the keys to understanding and change.

I take an integrated approach to therapy and consider mind, body and spirit when working with others. I support clients by working in an eclectic way, drawing on the knowledge, tools and insights of several theories and traditions to offer an approach that honours the uniqueness of each person.

The philosophies and modalities I embrace that inform my practice;

  • Rogerian
  • Internal Family Systems
  • Hakomi
  • Narrative Therapy
  • NVC (non-violent communication)
  • Meditation/mindfulness.
