Counselling/Therapy Services

Counselling is a process of helping and supporting a person/s to resolve, understand, accept or heal personal, social or psychological challenges and difficulties. I work alongside clients in an active, collaborative, client-led and non-judgmental way encouraging them to be truly open to exploring their unique situations. I consider it to be a privilege to work with clients at this level and I am passionate about providing the necessary support for clients engage in the possibilities of their lives.

My intention is for clients to find the counselling process meaningful and for it to have a positive impact on their lives. Being a witness to a client's transformation through this process is both fulfilling and rewarding and I feel privileged to work alongside clients through their life journeys.

I am empathic and non-judgmental in my work and my approach is flexible and diverse, ensuring that each client is valued and respected.

I am authentic and down to earth and I enjoy working with a diversity of people of all ages. Because I tailor my way of working to best suit each client I encourage and appreciate regular feedback. Working in this feedback-informed way ensures the best possible outcome as progress is evaluated.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

Empowering clients and building on their resilience is the foundation of my work. I work in a client-led, pluralistic way, drawing from many modalities depending on what fits best with each client (Person-centred Practice, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy CBT, Narrative Therapy).
