Wise Counselling Practice

If you need someone to talk to,
and someone to listen,
it’s what I do best

“I love my work as a counsellor. I am passionate about people, especially those who face barriers or difficulties that keep them from living their best life. If you need help, someone to talk to, someone to listen, that’s what I do best. I know how to provide a safe and kind space where people won’t’ feel judged, but accepted and significant within the counselling experience.”

Wise Counselling Practice

Wise describes the intuitive and professional approach that I have working with people and building relationships that honors each individual for who they are, and where they are at.

Wise comes from the knowledge acquired through years of experience, helping change negative and difficult environments, to create conditions that help individuals and/or their whanau to flourish and thrive. This is possible I believe for everyone.

We should take time to define our own path. Too quickly we can find the world defining it for us.

Your Culture Counts

I am excited to work with Maori in a way that affirms and honours their identity, bringing it into the room, making ‘being Maori’ and what that means to you – ‘the norm’, opening the door wide for you to share and explore your culture in a safe and valuing way. I am excited to work with people of ALL cultures.
