Counselling/Therapy Services

Whether you have a workplace challenge, have suffered a personal loss or interpersonal challenge or you are seeking therapy to support longer term change, in my view the therapeutic relationship between counsellor/therapist and client is essential. My approach, whether in short term or longer term work is to get to know you and develop rapport and trust as a solid foundation on which change is built.

My approach to workplace coaching and supervision is similar, behavioural change can only occur in an environment of trust and unconditional positive regard, so that a partnership forms between the client and the coach.

If you are seeking a partner on your change journey then let’s have a conversation and find out whether we can work together.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

I take a holistic person-centre approach to my work using different models depending on the need and fit for the client, always remaining focused on gaining an empathic understanding of the client and their needs and supporting them towards living a rich and meaningful life.

I am trained and experienced and work primarily with client-centred and solution focused counselling approaches, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and The Conversational Model of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

Background and Experience

I am a registered psychologist (general scope of practice) with over 12 years experience in workplaces and private coaching and counselling individuals with work and more broadly life related challenges.

I am currently training in The Conversational Model – Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy and will be working with a small number of training clients this year with weekly supervision for these cases. In certain cases reduced rates may be available.

Supervision Services

I am currently offering workplace supervision both for individuals and for organisations looking to support their front line staff especially in heavily emotionally charged roles and where professional boundaries may be challenging to maintain.
