Counselling & Therapy Services

I provide a welcoming, caring and accepting space, where people express quickly feeling safe and comfortable to explore what brings them to therapy.

‘Sensitively supporting suffering souls’ is what I am all about, and I welcome your inquiry.

Understanding you, what is causing you distress and suffering, and together navigating a way forward enables something different to be possible, both in your own life, in your relationships and in the world.

I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy, depending on your needs and what you are looking for.

My Approach

Depth of care is at the heart of who I am and my approach to therapy. From this safe foundation we can navigate together your suffering with sensitivity and openness. The therapy I provide is a weaving process where empathic presence is woven together with creative exploration and insight.

My expertise is in depth work, using various skills to help you understand yourself in open, compassionate and expansive ways. This enables symptom relief and enhances not only your relationship with yourself, but also with others, creating more harmony, meaning and value to your life.

I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and this is a foundational framework to how I practice. I tailor the therapy to individual needs and incorporate other therapeutic approaches and skills depending on what you are needing, and what is best for your overall well-being.

About Me

I am dedicated to my psychotherapy practice and I wholeheartedly believe in the potential of a life deepening, healing and transforming process through our work together.

Moving from many years as a registered nurse into psychotherapy has equipped me with a strong understanding of the quandary of challenges that we face as a human race. I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of individuals and families in hospitals, NGOs, community settings, as well as in private practice.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
