Areas of Special Interest

I specialise in helping people to recover from destructive relationships. Particularly those that involve Narcissistic personality disorder. On my site I have a link to a free support group page on facebook.

Counselling/Therapy Services

I provide an environment of empathy, support, and trust. I wish to help you feel at ease to explore what has been going on for you and the goals you would like to work towards. By providing this environment it is my wish that the emotions of the past that may have been distorted for you will be able to come out to be able to become more constructive. My clients who have had destructive relationships are able to feel support to let go of anger and grief in a safe forum. We are able then to go back and heal parts of the self that have been wounded in this process. We work to locate the innocence that was always there underneath.

We work with ways to keep ones self safe while strategising on how to deal with the potential destructive person who is still around and walking the noble path of recovery with honesty and integrity. We can search and discover new unknown parts of yourself and explore how these will fit into your new life.

I help clients to grow to their fullest potential and to find their self that they are happy with and can move forward well with to live the life they want. A life where they feel like they are the pioneers and in control.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

My grounding training was in person centred Counselling. This is all about the foundation of empathy and support and trust. I feel this grounding still is really vital to my work and therapy work in general. However I now consider myself an integrative therapist. I have training in cognitive behavioural therapy which we can use to support anxiety. I also have studied Transactional Analysis which we can use to look at different relationship dynamics. I recently completed a course in Jungian therapy. I also continuously read about therapy so I may recommend books to you. I will give you a piece of paper with feedback and ideas each session and we can discuss anything which is or isn't working.
