Background and Experience
I am a skilled psychologist bringing over 15 years’ experience in clinical counselling and therapy to my sessions. I hold a PhD in Psychology and am experienced working with individuals, couples, families and groups in both private and public settings (University of Debrecen, Ministry of Education NZ, Thrive Eating Disorder Services, AUT University, Totally Psyched).
My professional experience covers a wide range of applied psychology; I have competence in a variety of therapeutic approaches, my qualifications and experience assure you safe practice. Currently, I also work as a Senior Lecturer at AUT University and as the Clinical Leader of the Psychology Clinic at Akoranga Integrated Health (AUT).
I have considerable experience in providing supervision and offer individual and group supervision sessions for mental health professionals, including psychologists, counsellors or other health professionals, such as general practitioners, nurses and midwives. I am skilled in providing supervision for Intern Psychologists so can be a perfect fit for someone who just started their career. I have significant background working with Eating Disorders and offering specialist supervision for those who work with this specific client population.
