Background and Experience
I am a skilled psychologist bringing over 20+ years’ experience in clinical counselling and therapy to my sessions. I hold a PhD in Psychology and am experienced working with individuals, couples, families and groups in both private and public settings (University of Debrecen, Ministry of Education NZ, Thrive Eating Disorder Services, AUT University, Totally Psyched).
My professional experience covers a wide range of applied psychology; I have competence in a variety of therapeutic approaches, my qualifications and experience assure you safe practice. Currently, I also work as a Senior Lecturer at AUT University and as the Clinical Leader of the Psychology Clinic at Akoranga Integrated Health (AUT).
Supervision Services
I have considerable experience in providing supervision for mental health professionals, including psychologists, counsellors or other health professionals, such as general practitioners, nurses. I am skilled in providing supervision for Intern Psychologists so can be a perfect fit for someone who just started their career.
Regular professional supervision provides opportunity for you to review your work or related issues with an independent, highly trained professional where you can explore your feelings around work, receive professional feedback and guidance, develop your professional skills, enhance your self-care strategies, improve work-life balance, discuss ethics and competence related issues, review your progress in the Continuing Competence program (CCP).
