We pursue happiness and meaning in life. We strive to build a beautiful life we plan. Sometimes, things just don’t work out even with all our good efforts and deeds. Counselling/ Psychotherapy can help move the unexpected hurdles along our way and create our ideal life.
With short-term counselling, I can help you solve your problems, soothe painful emotions, manage stress, find out your strengths, and change the unadaptive behaviors.
If you will, in long-term psychotherapy, I can help you explore and understand yourself more. You will develop insights towards yourself, your family, your relationships and life dilemmas. With your mind growing, you will be stronger and free to make conscious choices for your life. You will develop confidence and meet life tasks with interests, wisdom, and stamina.
I adopt an eclectic approach. I use psychodynamic therapy to get a clear sense of what is going on at this moment in your life and problem. To achieve your therapeutic goal, I apply CBT, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment psychotherapy to help tackle your unhelpful thoughts and cultivate inner strength.
I also provide emotionally-focused couple therapy to de-escalate fights and build intimacy between couples. You will fulfill your needs of security, validation, and love again in your intimate relationship. You would experience your partner in new light, which could bring your relationship in new adventure.
