Background and Experience

My name is Corinne Allan I have worked as an independent art therapist since 2017 at my art therapy studio in Waikanae. I have provided art therapy for schools and community groups in the wider Wellington area.

In January 2020 I opened Kapiti Neuro Therapy. Q Testimonials

“This is an awesome business in Waikanae. Please read more about it or contact Corinne. I recommend it for children perhaps unhappy at school, who have difficulty expressing or voicing their feelings, or who need a little help to talk more about stuff. Be quick, when word gets around Corinne is going to be very busy.”
— SL

“Corinne is dedicated to her role and establishes great relationships with children. She shows genuine care and understanding of trauma and has many tools for children to communicate in art form. Her therapy is safe, child cantered , well planned and informative.”
— LW

“I arrived into Corinne’s care at a very low point in my life. She has been a pivotal therapist in helping me acknowledge some dark stuff and enabling the next stage in healing for me. With a deep intuition and motherly nature she guided and gently encouraged my creativity. Through colour and art therapy and most Neurographic I have found a new love for creativity and personal happiness.”
— MT

“I have attended a variety of workshops for different reasons with Kapiti Art Therapy. Each Workshop has left me feel incredibly at ease and Corinne has a very natural way of using different techniques to inspire your creativity. In the workshops I have been given opportunities for self-reflection which gave me a clear focus of my goals and where I want to be in the future. The skills set Corinne has in her field is immense and she is inherently driven to empower you to help you reach your goals in the time you spend with her.”
— EJG

“With a deeply spiritual intuition and motherly nature. Corinne has guided and gently encouraged my creativity. Through colour and Art Therapy Corinne has helped me face up to and then let go of some dark memories. I loved learning colour therapy and most of all Neurographics which provided a medium for me to release and reveal much more.”
— MT

“I loved painting rocks and all the games we made at the school holiday program. We roasted Marsh mellows and I made new friends...I like to come back it was so cool.”
