I believe that all people need an opportunity to express how they feel about their life experiences with a compassionate listener. Sadly, this still seems to be a rare experience for many.
I aim to provide this while fostering curiosity about oneself in the hope that unhelpful behavioural and relational patterns can be identified and eventually changed. Amongst other benefits, psychotherapy can help identify beliefs about yourself and others that are limiting, unhelpful, and inaccurate. A richer, easier, more rewarding life is possible.
I work with a range of the ways that mental and emotional pain can present itself, with particular experience and interest in addiction and finding personal meaning and purpose.
