I use a holistic approach to therapy that enables perceived problems to become indicators for change. This can bring a more fulfilling and richer experience of life.
Therapy is a room where you can explore your life issues more deeply. When insights come and emotions are released, we can live more fully in the present. This happens when we increase our awareness and become more conscious.
My counselling and psychotherapy background is in Psychosynthesis and Jungian Psychology. This is a psycho-spiritual approach combing both Western and Eastern depth psychology resulting in a gentle integrative process. By reflecting on issues arising in our daily lives and exploring our behaviours, feelings and thoughts we find out why we do what we do.
I have been working in private practice for 16 years. During this time I have run Post Natal Distress Groups for Maternal Mental Health. I mostly work with one on one clients and couples.
I began my journey working in Papua New Guinea researching the Fertility Habits of the Huli tribe. Whilst raising my family I was involved in Health Education and Post Natal Care. I became a Psychotherapist having discovered my true passion was in supporting the potential to heal oneself.
