Mindquility is About Peace of Mind

Peace of mind about life, our loved ones, work, relationships, and so many other facets in our life is so crucial for our overall wellbeing. Unfortunately, life can sometimes get tough, and we may find ourselves stuck, stressed out, or so weighed down that every day feels like a struggle.

We go to the doctor when we feel physically ill, yet we are hesitant or afraid to seek help when our minds are down and weary. Because mind and body are so interconnected, you often find that what we feel in our hearts and minds affects how we feel physically. Seeking help when you are down and not coping takes courage and shows great strength of character because just acknowledging you need help is already a big step in the road to recovery. Prioritising your mental health and peace of mind is as important as your physical health. We all carry emotional baggage with us from our pasts through into the present. It is not something to be ashamed of, as we all have our own life stories. The people who shaped our lives, memories, joyful moments, heartaches, and stories all influence how our life journeys pan out. We often just need the right tools to help us cope with all of our baggage to foster growth instead of it holding us back.

Challenges I work with:

  • panic attacks
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • LGBTQIA+ related issues
  • career and major life transitions

Therapeutic Approach

I apply an integrated therapeutic approach in my sessions to suit your needs. I believe that living your truth is where you begin making the change. Therapy offers a safe space to talk honestly and openly about your challenges and feelings, however brutal it may seem to say out loud. I provide a non-judgmental space for you to share what’s on your mind.

Everyone wants to be heard, feel understood and not feel judged. I find that building a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients is central to my overall approach. For many, it may be your first time and possibly the first good relationship where you feel safe and open to sharing your story.

About Me

I come from an Organisational Psychologist background where I applied my skills in several workplaces to help people cope with many significant changes in their work environments. Working with lots of people taught me so much more about others, myself and life in general. I realised my passion was in helping others on a one-on-one interaction where the connection was a lot more meaningful to understand their life journeys. So I have transitioned into private practice, where I want to help others unravel their life journeys.

I work predominantly with adults across different age groups, ethnicities and cultures and have worked with adolescents too. Being a parent has also taught me so much about myself and given me insights into the challenges that our youth faces today.
