Tēnā koe, welcome to Practice 371.

Dr Zara Godinovich and Kate Hebenton are clinical psychologists offering specialist, inclusive treatment for eating disorders, eating related difficulties and body image concerns.

Our Treatment Approach

Our team are experienced specialists in the treatment of bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, atypical anorexia and other diagnoses that fall under OSFED (Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders). We also provide support and treatment for clients experiencing problematic eating behaviours or exercise, concerns with weight and shape, or those affected by dieting and diet culture.

At Practice 371, our team use a Health at Every Size (HAES) non-diet approach when working with all our clients. Our priority is the development of helpful thoughts and behaviours around food and bodies, rather than a specific focus on weight and size. We work with our clients towards regular and adequate nourishment, while fostering flexibility and a more peaceful relationship with food.

Our clinicians are trained and experienced in a range of evidence-based eating disorder treatments and models. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Enhanced (CBT-E)
  • Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM)
  • Maudsley Model of Anorexia Treatment in Adults (MANTRA)
  • Adolescent and Parent Treatment (APT)
  • Intuitive Eating
