I have been fortunate enough to work in the addiction and mental health sector for the past 23 years and I have loved it. I say fortunate because I believe that when people trust me to share their story and their experiences that it is an honor. I really enjoy working alongside people at your pace and with your goals. I am often described as friendly and an approachable and my aim is to put people at ease.
In my work as a registered DAPAANZ clinical supervisor I am available to provide supervision and support for professionals within addiction, mental health and other health professional fields. I also offer non clinical supervision and I have an extensive knowledge of peer support models and peer support roles. I feel I bring my knowledge of working in many varied settings from working frontline to working in a variety of management roles. Supervision is so important in the work that we do as it allows people space to reflect on their work, work life balance, learn and problem solve.
