Psychotherapy and counselling conversations open space for awareness and reflection. They provide opportunities for inquiry and the exploration of all areas of life; to assist understanding, integration and the development of new responses in familiar and/or challenging situations.
Selina works with you to clarify the areas you want to focus on. She works in the here-and-now, with current experience, future goals and historical moments and events. Selina may assist you to investigate thoughts, beliefs and values that are influencing your ability to live the life you want. The first few sessions provide an opportunity to see what the next steps might be and whether a referral elsewhere might be useful.

Conversations can assist people to reclaim life and hope.
Selina has worked in the area of trauma, including sexual trauma, for the last 25 years.

Selina provides a confidential and supportive place for parents to look at what’s happening and to develop skills to understand and manage stress and anger. Learning different ways of responding to the frustrations of day-to-day parenting can give choice and a positive way forward.
