Counselling Services

Stephene began counselling in 2009. She walks alongside her clients to enable them to focus on experiences, feelings, or behaviour, with the goal to facilitate positive change. Stephene has worked with individuals, couples and families, in a non-judgemental way, that changes negative thinking, helps resolve difficulties or challenges, explores the causes of distress and offering ways to bring health and healing. Stephene uses Grounding Techniques and CBT to change patterns of negative thinking or behaviour that are underneath difficulties. She focuses on problem-solving and uses a range of therapies depending on the client’s needs.

Counselling  Approach

Every person is different and depending on what your needs are, I work with CBT Skills Grounding Skills, DBT skills to manage emotions.

Person centred because you are important and Narrative therapy because every one has a story and FIS because we are all made up of parts and we can work through those that are hurting and not functioning well.

- Free ACC funding available for sensitive claims
- Free through EAP program
- $100 per hour Private
