Counselling/Therapy Services

I think of therapy as an opportunity to gently explore the underlying reasons for some of the difficulties we can experience throughout our lives. The process of this exploration can bring relief from painful experiences and feelings that we have held on to and wish to let go.

I am a Kai Tahu woman who has explored the impact of colonisation on my whanau and am interested in working with others on their whakapapa journey.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

My therapeutic approach is to work in a caring and relational manner, providing short or long term psychotherapeutic services, with the ultimate aim of providing greater freedom and happiness in your living of the present.

Background and Experience

I have been working in the social service environment in Aotearoa, NZ for over 15 years, with adults, adolescents, children and families.

I have psychotherapy experience in both individual and couple work, working currently in private practice.
