I’ll meet you where you are, with respect, empathy, and understanding. I recognize that what you’re experiencing is personal to you, so I’ll take the time to understand your needs and tailor my approach accordingly.
If you’ve never been to therapy before, you may not know what to expect—and that’s completely fine. You don’t need to know what to say, have a clear goal, or have everything figured out before you come. We can simply start with where you are and take things at your pace.
Whether you’re going through a difficult time, feeling stuck, or wanting to understand yourself better, you’ll have a safe and confidential space to talk openly. We’ll focus on what you’re experiencing, what matters to you, and what you’d like to work towards.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

Therapy Services
I understand that reaching out for support can be a significant step. My approach combines warmth, empathy, and genuine understanding with thoughtful, evidence-informed therapeutic interventions. Together, we can work towards a greater understanding of yourself, develop healthier ways of managing difficult emotions and challenges, and build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of direction in your life.
Counselling/Therapy Approach
I specialize in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy combined with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. This approach helps identify the underlying patterns affecting your emotional wellbeing. By addressing these patterns in a supportive and collaborative environment, we can foster your psychological growth and create lasting change.
What to Expect:
- A compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your emotions
- Understanding and shifting the patterns causing you distress
- Practical tools to improve your mental health and relationships
- Empowerment to create the life you want
Background and Experience
My core training is psychodynamic, which has shaped my interest in understanding the deeper emotional experiences and patterns that can influence how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. I am also particularly interested in the work of Carl Jung, including his ideas around the unconscious, personal development, and the process of becoming more fully aware of ourselves.
My training also includes Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with a focus on developing practical skills to manage difficult emotions, navigate relationships, and respond to challenging situations in healthier ways. I have also trained in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), which supports a deeper understanding of our own thoughts, feelings, and intentions, as well as those of others. This can help strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and develop greater self-awareness.
I draw on these different perspectives flexibly, adapting our work to your individual needs, circumstances, and goals, while keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work.
