About Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy aims to access underlying feelings attached to thoughts and behaviours that are limiting us but that we have never understood how to change. It builds on the theory that our life has been shaped by past experiences and early relationships and how these continue to influence our thoughts, behaviours and our journey through life.

I will work with you to explore your past in a curious and kind way, providing us with the opportunity to understand the issues you are currently facing. I will help bring awareness to repetitive behavioural and emotional patterns that no longer serve you, and explore why they have been repeated and why they have been so difficult to change. Through psychotherapy you can learn how these patterns can be modified so you can enhance your connection to yourself and to others, enabling you to experience yourself, others and situations in different ways, providing you with deeper intimacy and satisfaction with life.

My Approach

I have been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and have a warm, thoughtful and empathetic therapeutic approach, in addition to being genuine, robust and curious. I see therapy as a co-creation between therapist and client whereby each client’s therapeutic journey is unique. With our collaborative curiosity about your life and experiences, your understanding of yourself can deepen, clarity can be found and change can occur.
