Therapy and Counselling

Counselling offers a supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. It’s an opportunity to gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and to begin the process of healing and personal growth.

About Me

I’m a counsellor with over a decade of experience as a psychologist overseas. I support children, adolescents, adults, and parents through a wide range of emotional, relational, and developmental challenges.

I offer a warm, respectful space where people can feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and see counselling as a collaborative process that supports healing, insight, and growth.

Originally from Israel, I bring a deep understanding of cultural transitions, identity, and belonging. Having recently settled with my family in Aotearoa, I also enjoy working with migrants, expats, and others navigating major life changes.

How I Work

I offer a warm, collaborative space and tailor therapy to each client’s needs. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from:

  • Psychotherapy to explore emotions, patterns, and relationships
  • EMDR for trauma processing and emotional relief
  • ACT to support values-based living and emotional flexibility
  • Attachment and Family Systems approaches to understand relational dynamics
  • CBT tools for practical coping and regulation

Who I Work With

  • Adults and young adults navigating stress, anxiety, grief, identity, or life transitions
  • Adolescents facing emotional, social, or academic difficulties
  • Parents seeking support in understanding and connecting with their children
  • Children struggling with regulation, self-esteem, or behavioural challenges

Background and Experience

I bring over a decade of experience as a psychologist in Israel, where I supported children, adolescents, adults, and parents across educational and clinical settings. My work included providing psychotherapy, counselling, psychological assessments, and parent guidance in schools, therapeutic centres, and private practice.

Since moving to New Zealand, I’ve continued to offer counselling and bring a culturally sensitive, inclusive approach to my work. I understand the complexities of adapting to new environments and navigating identity, belonging, and change.
