A safe space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you’re carrying – at your own pace.
Sometimes life just feels heavy – even when everything looks fine from the outside. Maybe you’re navigating grief, stress, burnout, relationship challenges or just a sense that something isn’t quite right. Whatever you’re carrying, therapy can be a space to breathe, find clarity, and move forward with greater strength and self-awareness.
I offer psychotherapy for adults – whether you’re in crisis or simply seeking insight and growth. My approach is compassionate, steady and collaborative. I listen carefully to what’s going on beneath the surface, helping you uncover the patterns that shape your emotions, relationships and choices. You don’t need to have all the answers – just a willingness to begin.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent several years overseas teaching and connecting across cultures. Since returning, I’ve worked across many parts of the health system — including residential addiction, kaupapa Māori and homelessness services, tertiary education and our national health system. I’ve supported individuals, whānau, teams and organisations facing mental health challenges, burnout, trauma, addiction and relational issues.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I support people to understand what’s happening beneath the surface – the patterns, experiences and relationships that shape how we feel and act. This process can bring relief, deepen understanding, and support meaningful, lasting change so you can move forward with greater confidence and connection. My style is supportive, thoughtful and relational, drawing on psychodynamic theory and a holistic view of wellbeing.
I have experience and interest working across a broad range of areas and issues, however hold a particular interest in the following:
