I have been working as a psychotherapist for over 25 years. For my clients, it means I have an in-depth understanding in how to support people to make internal changes, and also how to support them to ensure they live these changes in their everyday lives. For example, in relationship counselling understandings from the therapy room need to be experienced as changes in their everyday relationships. Or if you are anxious and tend to avoid certain aspects of life, you need your new understandings making positive changes in your everyday life.

Q What to Expect in Therapy

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, trauma, relationship issues, etc. In therapy, you can expect a safe, supportive space to explore your inner world, customized treatment plans based on your unique needs, collaborative and compassionate therapy that respects your pace and healing process, and practical tools and strategies to manage stress, emotions, and life's challenges.

Q My Approach

My approach blends various evidence-based therapies. I integrate Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP), Mindfulness Practices, and trauma-informed work inspired by the teachings of Gabor Maté and Bessel van der Kolk. Support you in uncovering your deepest struggles, transforming negative patterns, and embracing a more balanced, authentic life.

Q Location and Work Hours

- I undertake face-to-face therapy from my office in Howick, as well as online.
- I'm available on Monday - Friday and in the evenings.
