Heart to Heart: Creative Arts Therapy

Kia ora, I am pleased to welcome you to the world of Creative Arts Therapy!

I work with a diverse range of clients, ages and needs – using the arts to express and communicate where words sometimes aren’t enough.

My experience includes working in schools (with individuals and groups), working with refugees, women’s refuge, and in private practice with all ages.

I am experienced helping people with:

  • grief and loss
  • discovering your identity
  • working alongside a diagnosis of neurodiversity
  • anxiety
  • difficulties at school
  • bullying
  • sexual abuse
  • trauma

I work with a trauma-informed approach, drawing from various therapeutic methods such as sandplay therapy, narrative therapy and the arts – an eclectic and individual response to your needs.

I am also accepting new clients under the ACC Sensitive Claims contract.

An initial session is recommended to see if this would be a good fit for you.

I look forward to meeting you and introducing you to my warm and welcoming therapy space.

Everyone has the ability to be creative in different ways. This is why Art therapy can be very successful - the emphasis is on the process of creating, not necessarily the finished product.
