Fiona Mackinnon – Remuera

Lived Experience-Informed Counselling, Coaching & Supervision

With over 25 years of frontline work, I offer counselling, coaching, supervision, and education grounded in clinical knowledge and lived experience understanding.

I work with people of all ages, stages, and differing abilities. My approach is relational ,solutions-focused, trauma-informed, and practical, drawing on evidence-based models like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), distress tolerance, and skills-based strategies.

As a neurodivergent practitioner, I understand the impact of navigating systems that don’t always fit. I aim to create spaces where diverse ways of thinking and being are respected, and where wellbeing and purposeful change are supported.
