I am a registered psychotherapist offering in-person psychotherapy in Albany and Takapuna, Auckland, and online therapy across Aotearoa New Zealand.
You may be feeling anxious, lonely, depressed, emotionally overwhelmed, or life might not be turning out as you had hoped. Perhaps your relationships are troubling you, you’re feeling isolated, relying on substances more than you’d like, or you don’t quite feel that you belong. Many people come to therapy wanting to make sense of their inner world and life experiences. Psychotherapy is a unique space where you can talk openly about thoughts and feelings like these in ways that aren’t always possible in everyday relationships.
Much of my work focuses on how these inner experiences show up in relationships. I am passionate about working with adults in intimate relationships that are eroding their confidence and sense of self, helping them to understand subtle, confusing and repeating relational patterns that are impacting their emotional wellbeing. We work together to make sense of your emotional experience, deepen self-awareness, uncover unconscious patterns and translate insights into meaningful emotional change.
Relationships shape us from childhood and continue to influence us into adulthood; the same can be true of the therapeutic relationship
