I work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges — whether you’re living with low mood, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, healing from trauma, managing chronic health conditions, or simply feeling stuck.
With experience across both NGOs and private practice, I offer sensitivity, steadiness, and care to this deeply personal process. As a registered ACC Sensitive Claims provider, I specialise in supporting survivors of trauma, alongside working extensively with grief, loss, and anxiety. I also have a dedicated focus on helping people navigate chronic illness—understanding how long-term health conditions shape self-image and daily life—as well as supporting men navigating emotional and relational challenges.
When you step into therapy with me, you enter a space where you are welcome exactly as you are.
Together, we can work towards:
Creating safety: Building a secure space where you can speak freely without judgment.
Deeper self-understanding: Exploring why you feel the way you do and reconnecting with what matters most.
Building resilience: Strengthening your ability to meet life’s hurdles with clarity and self-compassion.
Healing trauma & grief: Respectfully exploring past hurts at a pace that feels safe for you.
Navigating chronic health conditions: Finding practical, meaningful ways to live well alongside long-term illness.
Improving relationships: Understanding relational dynamics and deepening your connections with others.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and flexible, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, humanistic, and mindfulness-based modalities to fit your unique needs.
Alongside my professional qualifications, I bring the grounded perspective of over 30 years of marriage and raising three adult children. Life is rarely simple, but it becomes far easier to navigate with the right support.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You are welcome here, just as you are.
