Empowering You Suppliership Hamilton – Wellbeing Planning 101 with Diane Clare – 9 May

Hamilton: A senior clinician's take on preparing either type of wellbeing plan.

Hosted by Waikato based Empowering You Suppliership, this workshop in Hamilton addresses ways to complete Wellbeing Plans as well as Cover to Wellbeing Plans as required in the newly updated ACC contract.

Cover to Wellbeing Plans are needed for those kiritaki (clients) on pathway A and Wellbeing Plans are needed for those with more complex needs on pathway B following Specialist Cover Assessments.

Regardless of the pathway, each kiritaki requires a therapy and recovery plan and this webinar aims to assist those new to this mahi and those needing a refresher in how to go about providing either type of wellbeing plan.  The training will offer the opportunity to understand the evaluation and formulation skills needed for the successful completion of these plans.

In addition, it offers a practical focus  on the clinical task of writing a coherent and well-reasoned  evaluation of needs, reflected in the goals and the indicated pathway for recovery.

ACC provides learning modules on the changes to the system, and these are freely available for registered and approved providers, so they will not be repeated here.

The Presenter Diane Clare is an experienced clinical psychologist who has been an ACC provider since the 1990s and the start of the Sensitive Claims service.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not ACC endorsed training – it is a senior clinician’s take.  It offers guidance in how to tackle the tasks in providing either type of Wellbeing Plan under the revised ACC Sensitive Claims Service.  Your attendance for this training does not guarantee ACC approval of your wellbeing plans.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain clarity and confidence in preparing these reports.
