Hi, I’m Dana — a Registered Psychologist offering online therapy to people across Aotearoa New Zealand.
I work with adults who are feeling stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful—whether that’s anxiety, low mood, stress, or difficulties with eating and behaviour change.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Sessions are guided by your goals and move at a pace that feels right for you. They are structured but flexible, with a focus on understanding what’s been keeping things stuck and developing realistic strategies you can use in everyday life.
In our work together, we focus on building skills to help you navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, strengthen your sense of direction, and make changes that feel sustainable long-term. I have a particular interest in the connection between emotions, eating, and behaviour patterns, and supporting people to develop a more balanced and compassionate relationship with themselves.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
I also recognise the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience. I aim to work in ways that respect your background, values, and the wider context of your life and whānau.
