What I offer:
I work with people experiencing:
We can spend a lot of time, energy and money trying to “fix” feelings of stress, unease or disconnection by keeping busy, focusing on achievement, appearance, work or relationships. Sometimes these strategies help temporarily, but the same feelings, patterns or difficulties can continue to reappear in different areas of life. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel supported and begin understanding what may be happening beneath the surface.
I see therapy less as an expert “fixing” someone and more as a shared process of exploration and understanding. While therapy can involve difficult emotions and experiences, I also believe humour, laughter and moments of lightness can be an important part of the process.
My approach is warm, relational, neurodivergent affirming and culturally sensitive. I draw from psychodynamic psychotherapy, DBT informed approaches and mind body techniques, tailoring therapy to each person’s needs and experiences.
It can be difficult to know from a few paragraphs whether someone will feel like the right fit. I offer a brief consultation so we can get a sense of this together, so please feel welcome to reach out.
