Bryony Botting, LivingStone Counselling

A safe, non-judgmental place to talk when life gets tough

Is life feeling tough right now? You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

What to expect

I will listen to you and support you to grow your understanding of issues impacting your life. We do this by together exploring the difficulties or concerns that you have, and the thoughts and feelings that come with them. But it doesn’t stop there.

I will also encourage you to identify what you value, what brings you meaning, life and joy; and let that guide you in making changes towards authentic and wholehearted living.

Counselling can help you to:

  • clarify your thoughts and emotions
  • explore your problems and options from different perspectives
  • recognise and develop your skills and resources to deal with issues that arise
  • make choices in line with your values and the life you want to lead

About Me

I enjoy working with people of a range of backgrounds and ages; supporting them to work through issues which are holding them back and to find positive steps towards living a full life. I love to see people grow in freedom to be all they were made to be and become.

My background: ESOL, café work, outdoor adventure and financial mentoring. I’ve lived in a few different countries and enjoy experiencing different cultures and languages.

My practice: I draw on approaches including Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centred therapy. I attend regular supervision sessions to ensure safe and effective practice and ongoing professional development.
