Anne Smith

clinical psychologist, child and adult therapist

Registered Psychologist, I have many years experience in the field of social injustice and poverty induced difficulties, I have also worked overseas with people affected by wars and trauma.

My Approach

NLP, EMDR, RRT, brain science, etc. After many years of practice and research (ongoing), I have enough tools to be able to tailor an effective approach based on the client’s perspectives and desires as well as their particular stuckness.

Therapy Services

It is my intention to help people shift behaviours, thoughts and emotions that are not serving them. I plan to do this with as much ease and fun as possible, and that it feels natural and stays active overtime. I have read many books and practiced and studied a lot about these matters, I also have met many people on the journey, and have collected their successes and strategies, which I am willing to share with new people.

However, I cannot work on my own and will require collaboration from clients. If appropriate we can engage family members and support people to help out, and I can provide tools to accelerate the process.

In our first hui we will determine together what are the issues we want to deal with and start shifting them. I will provide a contract that underlines with great precision the areas of work that I can provide, and the limitations, as well as the confidentiality of our collaboration. We will review together regularly and make sure we are on the right track. The work will be finished when our goals are achieved.
