Career Counselling provides you with ways to plan your career, career change options while not leaving you day job, it will help you make the most of your life. Career Counselling will help you to tap into practical strategies, strengthen your skills awareness, help you to strengthen you self-awareness, boost your self-esteem and confidence. As Cassandra Gaisford says in Career Rescue – How to Find Your Passion and Purpose, career counselling will help “you identify your non-negotiable ingredients for career success” and it will help you to live a life less ordinary.

 

Counselling Approach

As an experienced careers counsellor I listen carefully to you without judgement. We will work together as an equal partnership of trust and confidentiality as you journey to job/life satisfaction and happiness.

My Careers counselling is based on the person centred counselling of non-authoritative approach that allows you to take more of a lead in the discussion/process and discover your own solutions. At times I will make relevant suggestions, provide you will information, feedback, and alternative ideas during coaching. I also offer creative ways of developing your career story.

 

Background and Experience

I’m a qualified careers counsellor, supervisor, and life planner with 17 years’ experience, and a proven track record of success helping my clients achieve their goals – personally and professionally.

My experience has evolved over the past 20 years from working with clients who have lost a sense of themselves or experiencing work place bullying or want to gain a better sense of their working lives. I love this work, and being a supervisor and mentor to other professionals.

Whatever change you need or want to make in your life I am here to encourage and guide you to become stronger, confident, more empowered and successful. I enjoy working creatively, practically and intuitively in a holistic way to create meaningful and sustained change.

 

Supervision Services

I provide professional supervision for social services employees, corporate and line managers and other workers who struggle with deadlines or work performance expectations.

Wellington CBD:

- $100 per 1 hour appointment
