Having been trained not only as a psychotherapist but also as a Yoga psychology teacher, it is my belief that life provides a journey for us to awaken our consciousness, shine our inner light, find our purpose, and discover our qualities and gifts. Many of the philosophies that I learned and practice also suggest that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, and that karmic events happen recurrently in our lives so that we can transcend egos, overcome suffering, and learn lessons that can lead us to experience peace and equanimity.
If you are on a similar path, I am here to assist you on your journey of connecting with that source of consciousness within yourself, stepping into your potential in multiple aspects of life (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual), and overcoming the elements (conditioning, damaging belief systems, distorted perceptions, traumas) that may be shadowing you from living your truth and being in your power.
My approach combines the sciences behind Western psychologies (psychosynthesis, psychodynamic/psychosomatic/transpersonal/relational psychotherapy) with the wisdom behind Eastern traditions/philosophies (Yoga psychology, Buddhism, Mindfulness, etc.), to support the holistic healing of the individual.
I am also a certified Havening practitioner (an emerging science-based technique for trauma recovery), and Reiki practitioner (a form of energetic healing).
I work with people mid-long term, in a 50 minute session once a week.
