In counselling you are listened to and helped to explore the difficulties or concerns that you have, and you are encouraged to make changes orientated towards healing and wholeness. My counselling services are to help people’s life challenges holistically and bring hope and resilience through our therapeutic relationship. People say that I am a comfortable person to talk with and a good listener with empathy and compassion, and they experience me as gentle and caring.
My counselling approach is integrated based on person-centred therapy, narrative therapy and interactive drawing therapy (IDT). Useful outlets such as sand tray, small figures, using an empty chair, visualisation and art would be used appropriately for clients to help them express themselves in therapy. I offer a safe, supportive, confidential and empowering environment through open, trusting and collaborative relationship. I also try to respect and look after the needs of everyone, regardless of creed, culture or socio-economic background.
