Counselling/Therapy Services

Individuals:
We provide an environment which is supportive and respectful, solution-focused and non-judgemental. We enjoy supporting people in learning new ways of thinking about and dealing with problems while helping them connect with their inner strengths and skills.

Couples:
Building a strong and happy relationship is about understanding the patterns that cause distance and tension between you and your partner and learning how to consciously create more closeness. Couples' counselling with Jan will increase understanding, listening and caring in your relationship which on the one hand helps avoid separation or divorce, but also leads to mutual support and a brighter future together.

Children:
Taking a playful and creative approach, Maree helps children by connecting with the child in their world – using their strengths and ideas as well as teaching them new skills and ways of looking at the world.

Teenagers:
Offering a non-judgmental and a genuine listening ear is what we find our teenage clients appreciate the most about us. We help teens deal with the stresses that life is throwing at them as well as teach them how to turn their focus and life around to reach their goals and dreams.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

The main approaches we use are:
  • NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
  • EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy)
  • Hypnotherapy & Mindfulness
  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques aka Energy Psychology)
  • Person-centred Counselling
Sessions are tailored to suit each clients desired style. If you want a logical, strategic approach we can offer that. Similarly if you wish for mindfulness and hypnotherapy sessions we can do that too. Just let us know your needs and preferences when you contact us. If you aren't sure yet what you need, we can discuss this with you and combine modalities and approach according to the issues you want to work on and the goals you want to achieve.
