Counselling/Therapy Services

Every person has their own unique history, aspirations and challenges. I facilitate healing in a way that enhances your personal strengths and wellness.

I provide a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment. My focus is on listening to you and developing a trusting therapeutic relationship with you.

Using techniques to support self-awareness and to develop skills and strategies, I help to provide insights into lifelong patterns of behaviour, look at underlying issues, find ways to resolve them and support you move onto a more confident fruitful life.

I speak fluent English, Hindi and Fiji Hindi and work with ages 6 years and over.

Our children and youth encounter issues through witnessing and experiencing trauma. Through individual therapy I can re-create a caring, safe and supportive environment for them to express themselves in.

I also work with women in their darkest moments of abuse, trauma, sexual abuse and suicidal thinking; empowering them to break the abuse cycle. I have extensive knowledge and experience of the NZ Ministry of Justice psycho-educational Strengthening Safety Service programme.

I am happy to work with you short or long term to help you achieve your goals.

Counselling/Therapy Approach

My approach to counselling is primarily person-centred, collaborative and strengths-based. Narrative and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy influence my work and I use play therapy for children as appropriate.

I am well versed with other methods of therapy and can flexibly match method to need, in order to focus, work through and alleviate issues.
