ANNOUNCEMENT

My approach combines professionalism, warmth and honesty, without judgement.
For appointments, please email: [email protected]. Virtual sessions only. Now offering EMDR Therapy.

Life can be tough at times. It can throw us curve balls, stopping us in our tracks unsure how to move forward, or finding ourselves going down the wrong path. This can leave us feeling a range of unpleasant thoughts, feelings and sensations that affect how we feel about ourselves, each other, and our relationships. As a result, we can find it hard to cope and enjoy life.

It is a brave decision to seek counselling, and it is completely normal to feel anxious and unsure of what to expect. It is my job to make you feel safe and supported by providing a comfortable and trusting environment, enabling us to work through the issues and achieve your goals.

I work with adolescents and adults, and am experienced in the following areas:

  • Depression and mood related issues
  • Anxiety
  • Relationship issues
  • Stress management
  • Anger management
  • Grief and loss
  • Sexuality
  • Self esteem and confidence
  • IVF and infertility
  • Maternal mental health

My Approach

During the first session, I will spend time getting to know you and what has brought you to counselling. We will then identify what the goals of therapy will be, and together, build a strong relationship in order to help you achieve these. I will take into consideration who you are as a person, what your needs are and tailor an individual approach.

I draw on a range of therapy approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focussed Therapy.

I like to take a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, exploring lifestyle and health, as well as emotional factors. I aim to provide you with the tools to make positive changes, to tackle your issues through self discovery and reflection, and to feel more empowered. I strive to help people discover or reconnect with their passions, and support them to live life to the fullest, whilst being able to make room and cope with unpleasant emotions when they arise. After all, they are part of life.
