Are you troubled by distressing emotional experiences? Do you lie awake at night unable to untangle overwhelming thoughts? Is your everyday hijacked by feelings of anxiety, sadness, stress and despair? Are you struggling with relationships? Perhaps you have reached a point where life just feels too hard.
You don’t have to be alone. When life is difficult, counselling and psychotherapy can help. Therapy is about giving voice to what’s going on inside, and help you understand your thoughts and feelings. You’ll have a space to explore where you are in your life, how you got there and how you may want to move forward.
Drawing on my experience and training, I work with many people struggling with a broad range of concerns, including;
- Depression & Emotional Crisis
- Anxiety & Fear
- Trauma & Abuse
- Relationship Difficulties
- Irritability & Anger
- Stress & Burnout
- LGBTI Issues
Asking for help can be a first step to feeling better.
When you are feeling stuck and looking for relief, sometimes what you need is a space where you can talk and be listened to by someone who cares and who understands how to help. That’s where I can be part of your journey. My therapy practice is designed to be a collaborative process. Together, we will work on overcoming the obstacles which keep you from living the life you want.
The first step can be to take time to stop and listen to what is happening inside of you and consider what changes you want to make. Taking a step back allows us the opportunity to explore the present, the past and their impact. I can help you gain valuable insights into how you live your life and find a path through the difficult times.

Background and Experience
My experience is backed by a Masters degree in Psychotherapy from AUT University in Auckland, and my continuing professional development, attending conferences and training workshops locally and abroad.
In addition to my experience in private practice, I have worked therapeutically with clients at the New Zealand Aids Foundation, focusing on gender and sexuality issues, and with clients at the AUT Psychotherapy Clinic.
For the first part of my working life, I had a successful career in business and bring a thorough understanding of the demands and emotional pressures of modern-day life to our conversation.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for men and women in Auckland and am committed to helping those who struggle emotionally.
