I provide a safe, non judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours helping you to understand what is contributing to your presenting issue. We will work collaboratively to develop individualised practical coping strategies in order to create meaningful change in order to meet your therapy goals. I aim to ensure that the entire process is open and transparent from beginning to end and that you leave feeling confident you can continue the progress gained over the course of our sessions.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and utilise this as my primary treatment modality. In addition, where appropriate for the clients I am working with, at times I may incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
