Foundations Counselling for children, teens and adults

I work alongside clients aged 7 and older to understand your experiences, build practical skills, and support meaningful personal growth at a pace that feels right for you.

I offer a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where you can explore what matters most to you. I see counselling as a collaborative process where you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and walk alongside you.

If you, or someone you know is struggling with the challenges that life often throws at us, reach out for support.

FAQs

Q Do I have to pay for counselling?

Yes, unless you qualify for funding from a service provider. This can be discussed in the free 20 minute consultation that I offer prior to booking any counselling sessions.

Q How often should I be having counselling sessions?

I recommend having weekly sessions to start with. This helps build trust, and create momentum. However, the frequency will be tailored to match your individual needs.

Q Are you registered and qualified?

- I am a Provisional Member, Registered with the NZ Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
- I have a Bachelor’s of Applied Counselling
