Announcement
Hello. I’m a psychologist based in Pinehaven in Upper Hutt. I have a diverse background alongside a range of qualifications. In addition to my mahi I enjoy spending time with whanau, drawing and exploring the natural environment.
I work from a collaborative and strengths’ based approach. I use evidence-based therapies including motivational Interviewing, solutions focussed therapy, ACT,CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies.
I focus on supporting all clients to make achievable and sustainable change in their life. I work with adults over 18.
I have a special interest in working with men who face struggles around work, life, relationships and becoming unstuck from unwanted patterns of behaviour-including communication, alcohol, drugs behavioural addictions or dependencies such as gambling, pornography or internet overuse and dependence. Assessment and treatment options may include coaching or referral.
Possible concerns:
My approach is an integrated one- drawing from multiple fields of training and tailored to identified concerns, needs and strengths.
