Andrew Pang (he/him)

Counsellor

I love working alongside people on their journey towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

I work with a broad range of issues; however, I have particular interest in working with people around:

  • Self-esteem
  • Sexual identity (LGBTQIA+ friendly)
  • Cultural identity
  • Relationships and intimacy (monogamous and polyamorous/non-monogamous)
  • Men’s work

How do I work?

One of the biggest predictors of change in therapy is whether the therapist and the client are a good match for one another. Generally I prefer to do a brief free phone call conversation to see how well we align and if we can work collaboratively towards your goals. If we are both feeling positive about how we fit together then we can go from there.

In our first session we can explore what you want to get out of therapy, assess what are the areas of stuckness, and what strengths/resources you already have. From here I would draw on a variety of different therapeutic approaches that would be best suited for your goals. I like to work collaboratively and, depending on what we are working on, it is likely that there will be “homework” for you between sessions.

You’re welcome to reach out to me for a free, no-obligation chat to see if we are a good fit.
