I work alongside you throughout the counselling journey, and tailor interventions and strategies that will be practical and applicable to you.
Counselling Approach
I draw from a range of different modalities and approaches within counselling. I work from a client-led, person-centred approach, working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals and make sense of things that can feel confusing or overwhelming.
I incorporate modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Arts Based Therapy Tools.
I have over five years’ experience working as a registered counsellor. I am passionate about working with all groups of people but am particularly interested in working with youth and young adults. I have experience working in youth rehabilitation, as a school counsellor, and a youth counsellor.
- Provisional Member of the NZ Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Counselling)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Creative Arts Therapy
- Sessions are held for 50 minutes
- Monday - Sunday, daytime or evening
