Clients choose Brylee for her expertise in supporting adults who have experienced developmental trauma and are living with complex trauma symptoms, dissociation, and the long-term impacts of difficult early life experiences. She is known for her warmth, compassion, and ability to create a safe therapeutic space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported to build a life that they choose.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Brylee works collaboratively with clients to understand both the challenges they face and the strengths they bring to therapy. She has a particular passion for supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and provides affirming care, including support with gender-affirming pathways and ACC Sensitive Claims processes.
Brylee’s work is grounded in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and she is an EMDR Consultant in Training. She also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), which can be offered as either a standalone intervention or as part of a broader treatment approach.
In addition to therapy, Brylee provides specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments, including assessments for ACC. She also offers professional supervision in person and online.
